Ingredients
  

  • 1/4-1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut butter [optional]
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch sea salt + ground black pepper [pepper activates healing properties of turmeric]
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-3 drops liquid stevia or 1/2 tsp raw honey/maple syrup [optional]
  • 1-3 tbsp chia seeds

Method
 

  1. Melt coconut oil + coconut butter in small saucepan on low heat.
  2. Stir in all remaining ingredients until combined.
  3. Place in mold tray or baking dish lined with parchment paper + spread evenly.
  4. Place in freezer for at least 20 minutes until solid.
  5. Wrap in parchment paper and/or store in airtight container in fridge for up to 1 week [it will melt outside of the fridge!].
