homemade raw dark chocolate

raw, vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free serves 4-8

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds or topping of choice

Method
 

  1. melt coconut oil in saucepan on low heat.
  2. stir in raw cacao/cocoa powder + remaining ingredients until combined.
  3. pour into mold or cookie sheet lined w/ parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  4. top with nuts/seeds of choice, freeze for 30-40 min until hard.
  5. break apart + store in fridge for up to 1 week.
