turmeric licorice bulletproof latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tea bag Yogi Teas Egyptian Licorice Tea [sub: your favorite licorice tea]
  • 1-1 1/2 cup filtered water boiled [sub: if using unsweetened non-dairy milk like coconut or hemp, use 1/2 cup warm water to brew the tea and add 1/2 cup warmed milk in the blender when mixing]
  • 1/2 tsp raw local honey [optional]
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp coconut oil [to make it bulletproof]
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2-1 tsp turmeric ground [to taste]
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon ground
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg ground
  • 1/8 tsp cardmom ground
  • 1/8 tsp cloves ground
  • 1/8 tsp ginger ground
  • 1 pinch black pepper [to activate turmeric's properties]
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp maca powder [optional]
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds [if not using non-dairy milk]
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp unsweetened coconut shreds [if not using non-dairy milk]

Instructions
 

  • Boil water and brew licorice tea for 2-5 minutes.
  • Add all ingredients with brewed tea in a high speed blender and blitz until well combined.
  • Serve warm, or chill to serve over ice.
  • *Option without blender: brew the tea with 1/2 cup warm water then add to stove on low heat with non-dairy milk of choice and all remaining ingredients, whisking gently until warm.
