holiday avocado oats

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup purely elizabeth organic original ancient grain oatmeal
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tbsp cranberry sauce [or fresh/dried berries/fruit of choice]
  • 1/4 avocado cubed or sliced
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • in a small saucepan, bring unsweetened milk of choice to a boil.
  • gently stir in oats + reduce heat to simmer for 1-2 minutes until thick.
  • before removing from heat, stir in almond butter + spices.
  • top w/ cranberry sauce/berries, syrup + extra spices to taste.
