persimmon spiced oats

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup purely elizabeth organic original ancient grain oatmeal or grain of choice
  • 2/3 cup Pacific Foods unsweetened hemp milk or non-dairy milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Woodstock Foods organic tahini sub or add desired nut/seed butter of choice
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce optional
  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup to taste
  • 1 persimmon small, skin removed + chopped
  • 1 pinch sea salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds + cashews to garnish

Method
 

  1. cook oats as directed in non-dairy milk of choice.
  2. before fully cooked stir in spices, tahini + maple syrup.
  3. garnish with persimmon, nuts + seeds of choice.
