Can you name a time when you created some type of space or ritual based around something you wanted, or a time when you asked and received, even if it wasn’t exactly how you initially envisioned? We all have experiences like this, which is simply evidence supporting that we can all accomplish any of our heart’s desires. It confirms our ability to be truly unstoppable, if we want to be.
The practice of making space for and honoring what we want to create is one of the many universal, relatable aspects of yoga. Yoga reminds us that we are able to cultivate what we want, and it also softens the sting when what we thought we want doesn’t turn out the way we hoped it would. Yoga encourages us not to judge if and when we are frustrated along the way, and reminds us to practice gratitude in spite of it all.
