testimonials

My wife and I just got back from a fantastic 7 day yoga retreat that Sasha hosted in Costa Rica. It was one of the best vacations I’ve had in my life. It definitely surpassed my high expectations for a retreat like this. – Marco + Claire, 2017

After going to Sasha’s class, I was immediately compelled to sign up for her yoga retreat in Costa Rica. It far exceeded my expectations. She designed an amazing trip that allowed her expertise in nutrition and yoga to be worked into everyone’s everyday life, and… she is so fun! Each day of practice and workshop had a specific focus, always tying back to the fundamentals, origins, and philosophy of yoga – it was a beautiful balance of learning, challenge, strength and new perspectives. I was immersed in my practice with a deeper understanding and appreciation for yoga and enjoyed every moment of the trip. The practice, the food, the dynamic of the group and the insanely beautiful and peaceful environment allowed me to be fully present, dedicated and relaxed. As I’ve settled back into Brooklyn post-trip, I have been able to carry these mindful tools to my daily life. I am hoping to keep the momentum and genuinely feel more inspired then ever – Suzanne, 2017

My weeklong retreat led by Sasha was one of the most memorable experiences I have had in the past few years. Sasha spent a great deal of time with us making sure we learned about the core elements of yoga practice while also exposing us to yoga philosophy. Her passion for yoga and zest for life is infectious. We had as much fun practicing yoga under her instruction as we did hanging out with her and our fellow yogis over delicious meals and other island excursionsI highly recommend her retreat to anyone who is considering a yoga retreat/excursion. – Somak, 2017

Sasha, Sarah and Amber created a safe, heartfelt environment. I was free to be me in each moment. Each teacher has depth of character and are not afraid to ask the tough questions of themselves and of each participant while sharing an environment of respect and love. This retreat allowed for deep personal growth of each aspect of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual living. I am grateful for this light filled warm experience and highly recommend it to anyone who wishes for a deeper journey into the philosophy and practice of yoga. – The Good Life Retreat attendee, February 2019

Sarah, Amber, and Sasha not only shared their knowledge, but also their hearts with us! The yoga, the food, the group…..Nicole made each of us feel so welcomed in her home in the jungle that we were talking about returning next year before we had even left. – TGL Retreat attendee, February 2019
