ingredients
- filtered h2o
- 2-3 fresh or dried figs, chopped
- cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, fresh ginger
- 1/4-1/2 cup buckwheat flakes [or grains of choice]
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk [or milk of choice] added toward the end of cooking
instructions
Bring a bit of filtered water and spices to a simmer.
Add figs, cover, and stew a few minutes until soft.
Stir in buckwheat flakes and almond milk, adjusting liquid quantity for desired consistency.
Simmer until warm and serve with desired toppings.
