Well being of body links directly to well being of both mind and planet. Especially in mindful fitness practices like yoga, sustainability of not only body and mind, but also earth wind up becoming key factors to those who not only talk the fitness talk but start literally walking the walk.

The impact that mass production is having on the planet, whether in food or fashion, is becoming well known to be highly destructive. This is why the fit and quality does not always take precedence over things like where and how the fabric was sourced, what types of dyes are being used and if the consequential water runoff is hazardous, the energy consumption of factories, who makes the product and if they are treated/paid fairly, the list and valid concerns go on.

We could turn a blind eye and experience the brief bliss of ignorance for a pair of tush-enhancing leggings, or we could take a tip from yoga and other mindful fitness practices and make more conscious choices. We could turn our athleisure purchases into a thoughtful experience, showing how much we care not only about our wellbeing but that of the planet which gives us everything we need to begin with.
