chia raw chocolate bar

My new go-to chocolate, because last week I ran out of my favorite Grenada Chocolate and Antidote bars, so I took measures into my own hands.

free of dairy, gluten, grains, soy, sugar
serves 2-4

ingredients
1/4-1/3 cup coconut oil
1 tbsp coconut butter [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][optional]
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground turmeric
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
1 pinch sea salt + ground black pepper [pepper activates healing properties of turmeric]
1/4-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1-3 drops liquid stevia or 1/2 tsp raw honey/maple syrup [optional]
1-3 tbsp chia seeds

instructions
Melt coconut oil + coconut butter in small saucepan on low heat.
Stir in all remaining ingredients until combined.
Place in mold tray or baking dish lined with parchment paper + spread evenly.
Place in freezer for at least 20 minutes until solid.
Wrap in parchment paper and/or store in airtight container in fridge for up to 1 week [it will melt outside of the fridge!].[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch sea salt + ground black pepper [pepper activates healing properties of turmeric]
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-3 drops liquid stevia or 1/2 tsp raw honey/maple syrup [optional]
  • 1-3 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Melt coconut oil + coconut butter in small saucepan on low heat.
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients until combined.
  • Place in mold tray or baking dish lined with parchment paper + spread evenly.
  • Place in freezer for at least 20 minutes until solid.
  • Wrap in parchment paper and/or store in airtight container in fridge for up to 1 week [it will melt outside of the fridge!].
