strawberry rhubarb basil bowl

I wanted to make something fresh for spring with no frills.

This smoothie bowl tastes amazing and consists of nothing but fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. No fancy powders, just straight up goodness from Mother Nature.

strawberry rhubarb basil bowl

serves 1

vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, soy-free

 

ingredients

1/4 cup strawberries, chopped

1/3 cup rhubarb, chopped

3-4 basil leaves

1 cup frozen arugula + kale stems [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][sub greens/stems of choice]

1 1/2 tbsp tahini

1 tsp raw local honey

1/2 avocado

1 tsp bee pollen [optional]

2 tbsp ground flax seeds

2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp hemp seeds

2 tbsp unsweetened coconut shreds

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp turmeric

pinch sea salt

1/2-1 cup h20 or coconut water [add to desired consistency]

  • 1 1/2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp raw local honey
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tsp local bee pollen optional
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut shreds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric ground
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2-1 cup h2o or coconut water add to desired consistency
